Water Parks in Majorca

Whether you’re visiting Majorca with friends or family, there are few better ways to spend a day on holiday than at one of the island’s world-class aquaparks. Majorca is famous for its vast and varied waterparks, with plenty of options to choose from no matter where you’re staying.

And it’s not all adrenaline-pumping slides and flumes. Majorca’s waterparks boast something for everyone, from relaxing lazy rivers and wave pools to beautiful areas to sunbathe, play with the little ones, or grab a bite to eat.

Hidropark

One of the best-loved waterparks in Majorca, Hidropark in Alcúdia, is an enormous attraction with plenty of things to enjoy in and out of the water. It’s on the northeast coast, but thanks to Majorca’s small size, that’s less than an hour’s drive across the island from the capital city of Palma.

Spend a fun afternoon or the entire day here – you won’t run out of things to do. Shoot down the fastest, steepest slides at Hidropark or enjoy racing and rafting on gentler rides with the family. There’s a sweet children’s area, perfect for splashing and playing in the water, and a giant wave pool to cool off. If you’d prefer to sunbathe or relax, you can find plenty of beds and shady areas too.

Suppose you want to dry off. Why not play a round of mini-golf? Or head to one of the waterpark restaurant-snack bars for a bite to eat after all that swimming.

Western Water Park

Western Water Park is another of Majorca’s most visited attractions, and this one has a wild-west theme! It’s in Magaluf, west of the island, just a short drive from Palma and close to some of the island’s favourite golf clubs.

Enjoy plenty of thrills on the Tornado, Tijuana Twins, Boomerang, el Látigo, and Beast slides, ideal for adults and teenagers. Younger visitors can head to Kidzworld, where plenty of slides, pools, and waterfalls provide hours of fun in the sun.

Katmandu

Katmandu Park is another of Magaluf’s exciting family attractions, boasting even more variety than a traditional waterpark. Katopia splash park is a mystical fortress with twisting slides, interactive water elements, and plenty of space for children to splash around.

Aqualand El Arenal

Aqualand is one of the biggest waterparks in Majorca and well worth a visit if you only have one day or an afternoon to spare. It’s a short drive east of Palma, in El Arenal beach resort. And there are plenty of exciting rides to keep everyone happy.

Ride the Tsunami, King Cobra, Tornado, Kamikaze, and more when you visit Majorca’s Aqualand. There’s also a Kidzworld for little ones to splash and play in the sunshine and a lazy river cruise for when you want to relax.
